We at Consensus are now looking for a vehicle coordinator for an exciting consulting assignment with a leading company in automotive technical development. You will work in an environment where new construction, test preparations, and modifications of heavy vehicles are a central part of everyday life. The assignment runs until December, with good opportunities for extension.

In the role of vehicle coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the work in the workshop. You will receive weekly needs from development projects – for example, gearbox changes or other components – and ensure that the right materials are ordered, delivered, and available on time. The practical work is carried out by mechanics on-site, while you keep the entire process together, from need to completed modification. You will work closely with both the testing and development teams and ensure that no steps fall through the cracks.

The team you work with handles both short-term and long-term planning, including through a 10-week incremental setup. It is a dynamic environment where a lot is happening – but where there is also structure and support. If you thrive, develop, and function well in the group, there are good chances for extension and future opportunities.

We are looking for someone who is technically interested and has an eye for planning and coordination. You should have an understanding of how components in a vehicle work and be able to grasp what is required to carry out a specific task. You are curious, communicative, and thrive in a role where you have many points of contact. Introduction and support are provided by an experienced team, but your own drive and willingness to learn will be crucial for how quickly you settle into the role.
